Welcome to Goodwill Walk. see blog on Past/Future walks page www.goodwillwalk-jesusway.blogspot.com The idea of Goodwill Walks is to bring people of different backgrounds together by the simple means of walking alongside each other. All are welcome from different ages, cultures, faiths, races and work places etc. The above photo's are:planting Peace Tree in Bethlehem '09;Sergio,a fellow 'Pilgrim' and Paul in Spain;fellow walkers sharing a meal & Karen on Spain's Northern coast all '08. Our aims are the same as the iniatives on these websites:- www.abrahampath.org ; www.unoac.org and www.jesustrail.com The local walk is from Bingley outside the Fire station over the Moor to Ilkley's Myddelton Grange - about 6-7 miles. This has been a traditional Good Friday walk for around 100 years and his year this tradition will continue. This years walk took place on Friday 6th April. International walks have taken place usually to raise sponsorship money for causes that benefit people of diverse backgrounds.
